This compact apartment was designed to suit the needs of a young musician. It was important for each area to be functional and accommodate more than one activity. The living room has a dedicated dining area, the bathroom had to fit a washing machine and the kitchen has an eating bar, which can be pulled out to create a table or additional worktop space.
The biggest challenge was to create a space in the hallway for coats and shoes. I redesigned the wall layout which gave the required space to the hall as well as created the hidden storage on the bedroom side. The bedroom itself is compact, I selected a built-in bed rather than a free-standing piece of furniture. Thanks to that, it fits a double bed and offers additional storage underneath. The style of the flat is simple and elegant, with some personalised accents, which reveales the character of the owner.
